Dear Club Members,
The Communications Team is looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, has an excellent command of American English, and is comfortable with word processing software such as Microsoft Word or Apple Pages. This person will report to the Editor of The Round Robin.
The Activities Editor will compile and track activity listings from the activity leaders and determine which need to be included in the next issue of the magazine. The Activities Editor will receive submissions via the activitylisting@awczurich.org email (and the Google Docs Activity Submission Form, where appropriate) and edit the compiled list of relevant activities using AWCZ house style.
The Activities Editor will also compile the relevant PDF flyers from activity leaders and/or flyer designers, ensuring that all required information is present and correct, that the content conforms with AWCZ house style. She/he will download each flyer in the correct PDF download format (high quality PDF intended for print) and place it in the correct location on the Google Drive Round Robin content folder for that issue.
This person must be comfortable meeting deadlines, familiar with AWCZ house style and widely used style guides, and willing to learn a collaborative remote/online workflow (currently being designed and soon to be implemented). Estimated time commitment varies bimonthly but will probably be between 5 and 12 hours per month, varying every other month according to when The Round Robin is in production. If interested, please contact Yunting: vpcommunications@awczurich.org.
Have a great summer,
AWCZ Communications Team
