Navigating the Crossroads of Life
The Professional American Women’s Club of Zurich (PAWZ) invites you for a presentation by Ellen Delman.
Interesting and accomplished women rarely share the behind-the-scenes stories of their careers — the unexpected turns, the challenges, and the defining moments. Join us on November 5 as Ellen Delman, Consular Agent and Honorary Consul of the United States in Zurich, takes us through the fascinating journey of her dynamic professional life.
Before relocating to Zurich, Ellen began her career in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Economic Development, later transitioning to the role of Creative Marketing Director for an international art licensing company. In 1987, she co-founded SOTA AG Zurich, an innovative art marketing and computer graphics company, where she remained a co-owner until 1999.
Ellen has also been a dedicated leader in the local American community. She served as President of the American Women’s Club of Zurich from 1994–1996 and again from 2013–2019, and broke new ground as the first female president of the American International Club of Zurich in 2007.
From embassies to art galleries, Ellen has traveled the world, built bridges across cultures, and seized opportunities in unexpected places. Come hear her inspiring story — one that blends diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and community leadership — and gain insight into a life well-lived across borders.
