Get moving with Patti on Tuesday mornings for a fun and energy-filled workout powered by great music! This workout includes cardio exercise as well as strength training to sculpt and tone your entire body. Every workout will end with a gentle stretching session.

No experience is necessary. Please dress in comfortable exercise clothing and shoes and bring a mat, a towel, and a positive attitude.

Patti is a Group Exercise Instructor and an AFAA-certified Personal Trainer with over 20 years of experience.

We meet Tuesday mornings from 10.00 – 11.00, usually. Contact Patti for more information or to be added to the notifications and WhatsApp group. 


Clubs in Motion: Fitness walkers

Clubs in Motion is a FAWCO initiative to encourage members to stay physically fit, keep Club members healthy, and increase FAWCO awareness. Women’s Club members from around the world are getting together to “Walk Around the World.” 

At the AWCZ, every step counts on Thursday mornings. Our steps are tallied and sent to the Clubs in Motion team. Results will be posted on their website!

We walk along the Zürichsee, as well as through other neighborhoods in our lovely city. During the walks you’ll get to know fellow members and the city, and get some exercise. Strollers and dogs are welcome.

We meet Thursday mornings, usually at 09.30 at Bellevue. Times and routes change, so contact Patti to be on the notification lists.

HAPPY HIKERS

When you look toward the Alps, do you visualize yourself in hiking boots and a backpack?  If so, Happy Hikers is the place for you!  Be ready to move uphill and soak in all that is Switzerland.  Hikes will be planned on different days of the month, so make sure to be added to the WhatsApp chat to know the details.  Plan to travel by car or train to new destinations (within an hour or two of Zurich), and spend a few hours happily hiking.

RELAXING HATHA YOGA

Keeping your body fit and your spirit high is important no matter the age and no matter where on Earth are you. if you’re interested in pranayama(breathing techniques), asans(yoga postures), stretching and light cardio, you are welcome at the AWCZ Clubhouse every Tuesday from 10.30 till 11.30 am for a Relaxing Hatha Yoga class with, Teddy.
