We are the Carpenter Cousins and started making quilts together 9 years ago. Although we both come from long lines of quilters, we had never made any quilts ourselves. We were always looking for a way to get started. When grandbabies came along, we took that as a sign it was time to get started. We are self-taught, but with the luxury of knowing plenty of “professional” quilters to whom we can make inquiries. We are happy to share with you what we have learned so far. Like most things in life, our quilting abilities are works in progress.
