Rose was born and raised in Switzerland. Her knitting career was off to an early start when her grandmother taught her before she was five. She hasn't put her needles down yet.
While in Seattle she started her first stitch-n-bitch-n-wine group in the very early eighties and has since taught knitting, crocheting and all kinds of other yarn crafts to kids and adults alike. Spoiler alert: knitting is both addictive (ask her poor husband) and therapeutic.
