Planning your final farewell ahead of time: What options are there for funerals in Switzerland? Are they expensive? Is it possible to have a funeral ceremony outside a church? Where can ashes be scattered? Why is it worth planning ahead for your funeral? Like so many aspects of life in Switzerland, dying also differs in significant ways from English-speaking countries. This is one of the important reasons, but not the only one, why it is worth giving some advance thought to the subject of dying and funerals.
About HELEN
Dr. Helen Baumer is a Zurich-based funeral celebrant with UK and Swiss qualifications in funeral celebrancy. She delivers funeral ceremonies, burial and scattering ceremonies and advance funeral ceremony planning in the Zurich area. Helen has lived and worked in the Zurich area for over 45 years. She is fluent in Swiss German and High German and conducts funerals in both languages as well as in her native English.

For cost-based Events and Activities, the participant/s will be billed for the Event/Activity unless they have cancelled before the cancellation deadline.
