Nadia Banna is a certified Alexander Technique practitioner—a method that teaches you how to have more freedom and flow in movement, work and performance. Engaged in the study and practice of the Alexander Technique for over a decade, Nadia has a private practice in Zurich.
She completed her training in a three-year, 1600-hour full time program in New York City in 2012. She is a member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AMSAT) and the Swiss Professional Association for the Alexander Technique (SBAT). She previously had a private practice in New York, was on faculty at the Riverside Initiative (a school for training Alexander Technique teachers) and was a workshop leader for engineering students at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
Nadia is also recognized by the Empirical Medicine Register (RME) and ASCA, which certify therapists as a mark of quality and for recognition by the Swiss health insurance companies, as a therapist of the Alexander Technique. She greatly enjoys her work helping a variety of clients every week with chronic pain, postural problems, public speaking and stress management.
