Telling Your Story: An Introduction to Life Review

Life Review is a structured approach to the past, through writing or conversation, that helps us better appreciate where we are and where we are going. Through gentle prompts and reflective exchange, this workshop offers a guided introduction to life review as a tool for making meaning. Participants explore significant life moments and values which they share (or don’t). This session is designed to spark curiosity, deepen self-understanding, and open the door to continued exploration. Come reflect, connect, and discover what your life story still wants to tell you in a safe, confidential space.
Led by Nina Zimnik, a trained therapeutic listener and psychoanalytic coach, this poetry workshop offers a gentle and insightful approach to engaging with poetry as a tool for understanding inner life. Drawing on her experience working with adults seeking deeper self-awareness, Nina creates a thoughtful space where language becomes a bridge between feelings, memories, and recurring patterns. As participants explore poetry through reading, reflection, and simple writing exercises, they may notice a softening of inner tension, anxiety, or low mood—an effect often experienced when emotions are given words and meaning. This workshop invites curiosity rather than expertise, offering poetry as an accessible, human art form and a quiet companion in the process of self-understanding.
