A Day Of Flowers

A Day of Flowers includes a trip to the Burkliplatz flower market followed by floral design at the Clubhouse. Buy flowers for your taste and budget. Learn about choosing flowers, enjoy the creativity of arrangement, and discover some florist secrets.
Participants will meet at the Gazebo in the center of the Burkliplatz Market (09:30) and then move together through the farmers’ market, select flowers of their choosing, and then go back to the Clubhouse (11:30) to arrange/design.
To Bring:
- Cash or Twint for your flowers (flowers are not included in the workshop price, so you can choose your budget. Also, the farmers do not always take cards).
- A Swiss army knife, garden shears, or scissors that you would like to use to cut your flowers.
- A vessel of your choosing or nothing, if you would just like to do a hand-tied bouquet.
- A sense of humor and joy!

Nicole Osier is a hobby florist who grew-up in her grandmother’s floral shop. She has completed a year-long florist program with the Migro Klubschule and an apprenticeship at a local flower shop. You can see her work at many AWCZ events.

AWCZ Cancellation and No Show Policy
The participant/s will be billed for the Workshop unless she/he has cancelled before the cancellation deadline.
Photo and Media Policy
By attending, you agree that the photographs and film recorded during the event that include your image may be used for promotional purposes by the AWCZ. When attending an event, please notify the organizer in advance that you don't want your photo or a video taken.
