The gut microbiome is a community of microorganisms in our gut that plays a major role in our health and is recently being promoted as a new organ in our bodies.
Clinical studies have clearly established the microbiota's essential role in preserving our physical and mental health. It is now established that there is a direct link between the gut microbiome and the immune system, auto immune conditions, food sensitivities, skin outbreaks and mood disorders to name a few.
In this presentation we will define the microbiota, understand its role and disclose the main lifestyle and nutrition habits that endanger or promote its proliferation and presence in our digestive tract.
